The Configuring Resources dialog enables the description of resources and tells Vantage the method used to connect resource consoles to the Vantage workstation. The Configuring Groups dialog allows grouping of like resources to streamline event definitions. The Configuring Events dialog is used to define the events to be detected and the actions to be taken upon their detection. The final step is Configuring Remote Access to the Vantage workstation, if desired, to allow off-site access to support personnel.
New Character Based Dialogs are functional equivalents of the Resource, Group, Event and the Launch/Status Manager dialogs.
