The Group Definition dialog allows creating a list of like resources. If an event is to be detected on all HP3000's, for example, the HP3000 resource names could be added to a Group of resources, with a name of your choice. Vantage would then detect the event and execute the event response on one, or all, members of that group, or any other Group of resources.
Each group of resources to be managed must be configured in order for Vantage to know its name. This task is accomplished through The Group Definition Dialog
To start the Group Definition dialog position the pointer on the Group Definition icon on the Vantage Admin sub-panel and click the left mouse button.
