Resources can be recovered in any one of three ways: All or individual resources can be recovered through the Launch/Status Manager. Individual resources can be recovered through a script.

The Options menu on the Launch/Status Manager contains selections that change the sense of the Recover All button on the dialog enabling recovery of all or individual resources. To display the selections on the menu click the word Options in the upper left corner of the dialog.
To recover an individual resource click Recover/One Console on the Options menu. This action changes the Recover All button to read Recover One. Click the name of the Resource to be recovered in either the Active or Inactive Resource List and click Recover One. All processes and lock files associated with the resource will be removed.
The recover script can be used to recover an individual resource. It can be run locally, from a terminal window or remotely through a vanmgr login. The script will stop all processes and remove all lock files associated with a single resource.
The script accepts a single resource name as an argument. To recover a resource named HP3K002, open a terminal window on the Vantage workstation and type recover HP3K002. Recovery is complete when the message "Recover for [resource_name] finished" is displayed.
